On 19th December 2015, Innofieders took the roads to Deulti, Howrah for the Annual Picnic. A day well spent, and brought back a bag full of memories from the birthplace of Saratchandra Chattopadhyay.
The Journey
We started at 7 AM halting at different pickup points. And from PTS, our bus took a turn along the Kona Expressway.
As the bus sped up, we started up a little warm up session with Dumb Charades and had a little snack.
After two hours of travelling, we reached Nirala Resort in Deulti. Our Picnic theme “Return to Childhood” turned out to be very true. Boys just busted the place with a game of cricket football as soon as they got down.
Then it was time for those lip-smacking breakfast, which we quickly made up. Since, we were in a hurry to get into the Game Zone. Innofieders took part in two games one was Lucky Chair and the other was Ruk Ruk Railgari. Both the games were irresistible. We really had a good time!
And we had the Winners as well!!!
After so much of activities, now we all were quite hungry and a plateful of yummy delicacies surely brought back the smile. See he is all in smiles and camera-ready!!
After the lunch session, we had a little power nap. Next it was time to wander a little. We went to Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay’s residence to pay a little homage to one of the great authors in Bengali.
Then we set out to view the placid Rupnarayan River, the one famous for Hilsa.
We came back to Nirala Resort around 4 PM and had a little tea-time tit bits. We snacked upon some delicious Veg and Non-Veg Pakoras and were all set to leave the place with fun-filled memories.
