We developers know that how testers run after bugs to ensure that we deliver a quality product at the end of every development. Without a tester, it is IMPOSSIBLE to provide a bug-free solution! And a tester is an inevitable part of any productive development team!

To showcase the power of the testers Global App Testing along with giant Sponsors and Partners like Facebook, Spotify, Dropbox, Uber etc has launched Testathon – hackathon for the testers across the world.

Testathon is similar to any other hackathon with one exception, it is for the bug lovers. It is an event created with the aim to connected the testing community, learning from each other and enjoy bug finding together.

Testathon has been hosting various chapters across the world over the last year. For Chapter 6, they reached Kolkata and invited 50 best and the powerful testers to take up the challenge. And Guess what Innofied too made their presence.

The Bug Finding Hackathon

The event took place at Hyatt Regency Kolkata on 15^th May 2016. Global App Testing and Facebook India Team threw the challenge of testing various cases of the two most popular social media channels – Instagram and Facebook.

With an inspiring intro from Ronald Cummings John from Global App Testing, the bug hunt began.

The day came to an end with good food, great networking, and loads of prizes.
